Ugo the running dog

and here is my fisrt one.........

And finally voilà "Ugo the running dog". Its Italian 56x55 steel frame is coming directly from the late '70s. The frame has a nice sporty geometry, and is light as light.
It has Campagnolo high flange wheels and a 53 Ofmega front crown for which I picked up a 16 on the back. Karim gave me patient guidance through the endless path of transormation, and Mark of the Regenborgenfabrik opened for me some of the mysteries of wheels re-dishing.
It has been lately gifted with asymmetric (what the hell is the exact term??) Tektro brakes. The paint is scratched but I honestly think it would be a shame to get rid of the nice gold and black combination of the bike.

"Ugo the running dog" mein erste Single-speed, ein alte ('70 Jahren) 57 x 57, sehr leicht Stahlrahmen.

AH, LE FLANGIE ALTE!!!!! L'Ofmegone da spinta bartalica

Next one is gonna be a old 1967 blu bottecchia. It is definitely a she. Her name will be "67/10: Sea Moon before the revolution". Of course it is dedicated to a woman whose name is so similar to Sea Moon, and who does not YET believe in revolution

PICCOLA AGGIUNTA......
Ebbene Ugo ha un nuovo padrone. Dopo essere stata testata da Simone nei 50 km Berlin - KleinerMugglersee - Berlin con pietre e sabbia degne di una Paris - Roubaix, oggi ha trovato una nuova casa.
Now's the time for my 1968 bottecchiablù.
